Who we are

Rivoq Labs is an AI native creative studio. That means something specific: we don't shoot. No cameras, no crews, no studio days, no three week production windows. Everything comes out of AI generation, editing, design and post, which is why we move at a speed traditional agencies can't.

We started making AI cinematic ads. Clients kept asking for more, so we extended into strategy, creative direction, copywriting, and the research behind what to make in the first place. The job stopped being "make us a video" and became "help us grow."

That's the direction we're building in. Not another agency taking briefs, but a growth partner owning the whole creative engine.

The role

Short form, at real volume. Reels, Shorts, snackable video. Not ninety second brand films. Priority categories right now are technology and consumer products: AI tools, apps, software, gadgets.

This is not editing and not design. Those sit with a separate team. You're upstream of all of it, deciding what gets made and why.

Find

Live inside Instagram, YouTube Shorts and Facebook, tracking what performs in and around your clients' categories. Systematically, daily, logged so it stays useful.

Understand

Work out why something worked. Not that it got two million views, but what happened in the first second and a half, why people stayed at second four, what the comments say the audience actually cared about.

Formulate

Pull the recurring patterns out. Hooks, structures, formats, opening lines, caption styles. Build a swipe library someone other than you can pick up and use.

Adapt

Nothing gets used raw. Every client has their own voice, their own audience, their own things they won't say.

Ideate

12 to 15 concepts every working day. Each with a hook, structure, script, on screen text plan, caption, and a clear note for the team building it.

Write

Hooks, scripts, on screen text, captions, all in the client's voice rather than your own.

Defend

A short daily review. Argue for what you believe in, kill your own weak ideas before anyone else has to, rework what doesn't clear the bar. Then watch what ships and let performance change what you make next week.

Who this suits

You probably already do half of this for free. You watch a lot of short form and can't switch off the part of your brain that notices why something worked. You have opinions about hooks and can back them with better than "it feels right." You read comment sections for information. You spot a format the week it starts, not the month it peaks. You write fast, cut your own work without flinching, and know Indian internet culture well enough to tell when something is trying too hard.

Most importantly: you can be good on a Tuesday when you're not feeling inspired, because you work from a system instead of a mood.

What you need to have already done

Minimum 2 years full time in a marketing agency, a creative or content studio, or in house at an established brand on the content, social or marketing side. Freelance counts if you can point to sustained client work rather than a handful of one off projects. Tell us who, how long, and what you owned.

Plus hands on experience making short form, not only planning or managing it. Work you can show us, with some sense of how it performed. And enough client exposure that briefs, feedback rounds and brand guidelines are familiar territory.

What matters less: your degree, your job title, whether your portfolio is a polished Behance case study or a Google Doc with links in it, whether we'd recognise the agency name. We ask about experience because two years of real client pressure teaches things nothing else does. Past that, we're looking for whether you can watch a piece of content and tell us something true about it that we hadn't noticed.

Before you apply

This is the most important section on the page.

Whoever takes this role decides what a client's entire content output says, every day, at volume. If the thinking is wrong at the top, everything downstream is wrong too, and there's nobody sitting between that judgement and the client. We're not handing that to someone we're unsure about.

So, plainly:

Don't apply if you're entry level. Not "entry level but a fast learner." Not "entry level with a strong portfolio." We can't carry someone through the first three months on this one, and applying anyway costs you an afternoon and costs us one too.

Don't apply casually. The form takes about 15 minutes and asks you to actually write things. Half finished submissions, one line answers and copy pasted portfolios get closed straight away.

Don't stretch the truth. We cross check what you tell us against your public work history, the accounts you say you've run, and the links you send. It's far easier to spot than most people assume, and we verify before we reach out to anyone. If it surfaces after you've started, the contract ends there.

And be straight with yourself about the volume. 12 to 15 concepts a day is genuinely demanding, and week four is harder than week one. You won't be starting from a blank page. There are SOPs, templates, brand guidelines, swipe libraries and a structured daily workflow, and they exist because we know what this job does to people without them. But walk in knowing there's real output pressure and daily feedback.

What you get back is more creative ownership than almost any role at this level offers, a clear view of what actually performs rather than guessing, and a seat at the table while we build something considerably bigger than one project.

Terms

Engagement

3 month contract to begin with, with every intention of extending or converting it if it works on both sides.

Compensation

Based on what you can demonstrably do. We haven't published a band because we'd rather pay for ability than for years on a CV. Tell us your number in the form and a line on why, and we'll have an honest conversation.

Location

Fully remote, IST hours.

Hours

Full time.

The process

01
The form. About 15 minutes. Where you've worked, what you owned there, and three short writing exercises, because watching someone do a small piece of the job tells us things a CV never will.
02
A conversation. If your form is strong, usually within a couple of days of applying.
03
Offer.

No unpaid trial weeks. No four round interview process. No waiting a month to hear back.

Applying

Everything happens in the form.

One request: where it asks for a video link, send one Reel from the last 30 days that you think is excellent, and tell us in two sentences why. If those two sentences are good, we'll read the rest of your application very carefully.

We're filling this first come, first served. If this sounds like you, do it now rather than at the weekend.
